Over the Weekend
So how was everyone’s weekend? What did we all do that was RPG related?
Myself I went on a Magic: TG shopping spree. Mrs S and myself are both Magic nuts these days and with the release of Planechase we decided to pick them up. It seems like an interesting game alternative. I’ll be sure to post a review when we have played a few games.
We also picked up a Fat Pack for Morningtide. I can’t say we got anything of interest in that whole box. Most of the cards are quite… weak, so to speak. Normally in a booster you can get some pretty darn decent cards, or at least something you really want to work into your existing deck, or even start a new deck. I’m not feeling it with this one, though. It could just be our luck in the included boosters. I’ll evaluate more before passing judgement.
I also picked up a con-flux intro pack. With all these new cards I was fortunate enough to alter my whole deck to something that I think is very worth while. I realized that my deck relied a bit too much on certain aspects so hopefully I shaped things up in a good way. I’ll need to test it out.
