PAX East: Day 2 Continued

by Carl on March 28th, 2010

Well the rest of our night went quite well. We attended a panel from Obsidian on choice in games. It was a rather humorous panel on how they tried to make the game as variable as possible so the experience is very interactive and the decisions you make have an impact. Why this is a rather video game centric type of panel it does have some application to RPG’s of the pen and paper variety as well.

We also attended a play entitled Of Dice and Men by Critical Threat Theatre. It was simply a play read however they want to bring this into full blown production and it is EXTREMELY GOOD (More on this in another post). But please check it out and support them through donations. I guarantee you that it is worth it.

Finally we came back to the pad and crashed while watching movies and playing a rousing game of Chrononauts (Review coming soon). Day 3 was now looming and thus the end of the PAX East Expo
