On April 26th, Pinnacle Entertainment Group will be launching a Kickstarter for a conversion of Palladium’s RIFTS setting to Savage Worlds. The Kickstarter will run until May 19th, at which point we will know whether there’s enough interest in RIFTS on another system. Personally, as someone who grew up playing Palladium games alongside AD&D 2e, but grew to understand that there were better systems than Palladium’s now-well-aged system, this is a welcome sight indeed. I’m very curious to see what the final product looks like, and it might very well be a good reason to return to the gonzo* world of RIFTS.

Well Palladium has something very interesting coming soon and that is the Robotech RPG Tactics Kickstarter. This seem’s new and fresh from Palladium which is good. The idea seem’s just plain awesome to begin with and hopefully we have some equally cool Kickstarter incentives aside from seeing this game come to life.
Over at Palladium Books they have their yearly X-Mas Surprise Package available for order. It’s a great concept and a good deal. I think I may pick one up this year. I have had a hankering to play or run an old school RIFTS or Robotech game. Sure the system is clunky but sometimes you just don’t care anymore.

Well this slipped under the radar but a week ago Palladium Books had released one of their usual press releases. I like them because their informative and personal. Almost like a blog. However the topic of shopping around their IP’s and discussion of the RIFTS movie was brought up. While there isn’t anything earth shattering at least it’s good to see that that there is the possibility of seeing some Palladium love in the cinema hopefully at some point. Fingers crossed! Oh and for the release check this out
Well Palladium posted a new press release last Friday Jan 15th. It’s less blog then usual and sticks to the product highlights and promotion. So check it out
Well Palladium had a press release we somehow missed. What the heck?! But here it is none the less for you to check it out. Reading it makes me appreciate how they are trying to make it as a company since almost collapsing. The candor of Kevin and how personal he gets concerning the company’s situation, personal life and future is really refreshing. Wouldn’t you like companies to be more straight with how things are? Think what you will about their products but kudos to you Palladium. Keep on rolling.
The Rifter # 48 from Palladium is at the printer and is apparently expected around Oct 12 to ship. So go ahead and pre-order this bad boy
Palladium has a press release up. In all honesty it’s not your typical press release. It takes a more personal tone this time around concerning the personal life of Kevin Siembieda. It’s very honest on not only things going on with him but also the current state of Palladium. I think that brand of honesty is refreshing. They have had a lot of problems in the past two – three years but are still pulling through. While we at the Hub are not particularly huge fans of their system, we all started on it and have fond memories of the times we had and the quality of the material. To book the books are insanely affordable which to any game is godsend.
In gaming related news they have some new Robotech books on the way and Mysteries and Magic Book One: The Herart of Magic. I highly encourage you to check what Palladium has to offer.
